THE CAVE
For many thousands of years the caves were most often frequented for religious purposes, and nowadays inside them traces of the ancient settlements are discovered : at the entrance of the caves traces of seasonal settlements are found , while inside there may be paintings and rock engravings dated back to different periods.

The cave, more than 10.000 years ago, in the Paleolithic period, was a place of worship where people came to paint and to engrave animals they hunted. Entering the cave, you can go along the path that, thousands of years ago, led the priests to these sacred spaces and you can see examples of rock paintings reproduced using techniques and subjects of the Paleolithic period.
